Cassie
da
Costa

is an editor for REI's publications Uncommon Path and Expert Advice, covering Run and Watersports. Sometimes she makes low-tech websites, including this very one. Cassie was previously the commissioning editor for Another Gaze, and used to work at Vanity Fair as a staff writer, The Daily Beast as an entertainment writer, Medium as a writer-at-large, and The New Yorker as an assistant editor and video producer. Her work includes this essay about Leilah Weinraub's documentary Shakedown, this piece about one of very few podcasts she's ever enjoyed, this review of Sean Baker's The Florida Project, and a paean to Pina Bausch, for good measure.
